Emergence of a new paradigm: Towards a post-crisis cosmopolitanism
Abstract
This paper will examine the paradoxes of the post-crisis situation in the tensions between crisis aggravation -- leading to increased problems of economic social and environmental world justice -- and the presences of voices and signs of a paradigm shift towards ethical politics. This paper was presented at the first meeting of the NSU study group “Conceptions of ethical and social values in post-secular society: Towards a new ethical imagination in a cosmopolitan world society”, held on January 28-30, 2011 at Copenhagen Business School.
