The archives of Jean Sénac (1926-1973) consist of two collections: one is located in the City Library of Marseille and the other one – in National Library of Algeria. The first collection contains mainly the manuscripts of works written by Sénac during his stays in France (1950-1952 and 1954-1962). The collection of National Library of Algeria – the most abundant – matches two important periods of Sénac’s life and work in Algeria: from 1926 to 1950 and from 1962 to 1973.
