用渐近连分数的性质和Pell方程的解类特点，得到了指数丢番图方程的解（x，y，n）的性质及其较为精确的上界，证明了y<C1(A, B)n+C2(A, B），这里C1(A, B), C2(A，B）是仅与A，B有关的可有效计算的常数.
