Analyzing the role of thanksgiving and fulfilling the covenant in valuing production and consumption from the perspective of the Quran (a new perspective on the culture of production and consumption)
Abstract
The good and the bad of each way of life are effective in other matters of life; In a society where politics, culture, judgment, ethics and economics are corrupt, religion is not free from corruption. Purposeful review and change in the theoretical and practical structures of economics in the school of revelation, leads to its further growth and optimizes consumption, which is one of its components. The present study has attempted to analyze the role of gratitude and fulfillment of the covenant in the evaluation of production and consumption in the Holy Quran in a descriptive-analytical method and has sought its fruits. The result is that:A) Human production in the material dimension must be accompanied by intentions such as prosperity and worldly progress, nearness to God and God-centeredness, etc .; And do not go beyond the circle of God's pleasure. This is the same thanksgiving that is inherently valuable.B) Production and consumption are not necessarily for need; And these two do not only include materials, but also human actions, products and world facilities such as time and place are also part of human consumption and man must be responsible for the quality of their consumption.C) The products that man creates by exercising his daily life create the facilities that he needs in the Hereafter; In line with this type of production, man is a consumer of capital and divine blessings; Therefore, human production must be in the way of fulfilling the divine covenant and gaining the pleasure of God and the prosperity of this world and the hereafter.
