Readings on the margins. La Rioja, early nineteenth century

Abstract

This article constitute an approach to the world of letters of La Rioja based on the information obtained from what was read: texts, reading and debate spaces; social gatherings, and two men of letters from La Rioja who were different from each other. We think that the possibilities of a dynamic social net fostered a room for that universe of letters in La Rioja. Different men participated in this world, specially the clergy who filled some gaps through their words and their written production, creating communicational and intellectual paths.
