Abstract

In a literary work of his the witty writer and insuperable artist Benvenuto Cellini brings back a book written by Leonardo da Vinci on the great arts sculpture, painting and architecture, where, among the other extraordinary things, we can find a discourse about perspective. That very rare source gives us the chance of investigating one of the most significant moments of innovation in the process of construction of perspective images in the Renaissance.
