Historiography of Linguistics and rhetoric of linguists: the power of words and its historical value

Abstract

This text aims to propose a theoretical and methodological reflection on the use that Historiography of Linguistics calls as rhetoric in studies that seek to reconstruct, with an interpretative goal, moments in the history of studies about the language.
