Article highlights We investigated the influence of neck flexion on two time-sensitive tasks with differing prepotency. A flexed neck led to faster RT on a high prepotency task but not on a task with low prepotency. This study replicates previously seen effects of neck flexion on high prepotency RT with higher ecological validity.
