Abstract

The development of electronic communication strongly influences, among others, the market for postal services, including in particular a decline in demand for traditional letters. In these conditions the vital interest of the postal operators is to take a profes-sional provision of electronic letters and, at the same time, a strong engagement in fast growing segment of logistics, including in particular the support of the growing streams of individual and courier parcels related with the development of e-commerce.
