Abstract

La construcción de intervalos de confianza para la estimación del parámetro π, de la distribución binomial, es un problema importante en el trabajo estadístico aplicado. Revisamos diferentes procedimientos para su construcción y realizamos un estudio de simulación para analizar el comportamiento de los niveles de confianza reales y compararlos con los teóricos.Interval estimation of the binomial parameter is one of the most important problems in applied statistics. We review several procedures and compare them via simulation to analyze their performance considering the behavior of the real confidence level with respect to the theoretical value.
