Garde-à-vous à Manesar. Une observation participante parmi les gardiens de sécurité en Inde

Abstract

The article gives an account of an experience of participant observation in a security guards training in Manesar, a suburb in the south-west of Delhi, India. The author narrates the experience, with its serendipity and its ill luck, while showing how it participated in his questioning on the role of private security guards in the production of a filtered and controlled space.
