Ordinary consciousness and modern futurology

Abstract

Futurological scenarios are important not so much the specific content of their “models of the future” as the way they reflect and Express the modern condition of ordinary consciousness. Study them from this point of view provides a platform for deepening our understanding of values and life-meaningful orientations of the modern ordinary consciousness. The role of ordinary consciousness as a prerequisite for futures-oriented creativity varies greatly depending on the type of futurist scenarios.
