Two great minds: Actuality in students of the Physical Culture Faculty

Abstract

In this article the authors discuss the role of Ramón Emeterio Betance, Father of the Puerto Rican land, and José Marti, National Hero of Cuba, emphasizing the notable life of the Puerto Rican hero, practically ignored and forgotten. Both heroes' lives, despite their generational difference were joined by the common interest to see their fatherlands free and also because they regarded them as one. The article pictures events of both lives that reflect the previously stated, and the importance the study of their literary work has, besides other aspects of the lives of these men.
