Soundscape in the Project Activity of Schoolchildren in the Context of Electronic Music Creativity

Soundscape is a multidimensional concept that means both a corpus of environmental sounds, which is claimed by a significant range of sciences, and a musical genre that is widely used in the creative practices of contemporary art. There is a method of mastering the soundscape in project activities in order to develop schoolchildren’ creative abilities based on the acoustic, musical, biological, geographical, and historical features of the environment and their creative transformation using information and communication technologies proposes in this article. The resulting creative product can take the form of a multimedia work, a video clip, a podcast for a radio program, a background for a theater production, a sound map of your region, a mobile sound walk or a scientific report. The interdisciplinary project for the study of the soundscape provides for a coordinated interaction of different pedagogical approaches: system­activity, personality­oriented, integrative, subject­spatial, theory of developmental learning, system of aesthetic education by A. V. Bakushinsky. Individual self­realization of learners with the dominance of personal priorities in the choice of certain forms and types ofactivities when working on aproject increases the effectiveness in the development of schoolchildren’ creative abilities, directs children to creative transformation and a respectful, careful, responsible attitude to the environment. The project for the development of the soundscape is appropriate to use in extracurricular activities at school, classes in clubs, sections, clubs of interest, studios, associations, scientific communities, children’s health camps, seasonal field practices.
