Purpose. Identification of forms adequate to modern conditions and methods of organization of advanced training and professional retraining of various categories of teachers. Methodology. The basis of the research constitute the methods of comparative analysis, etymological analysis, analysis of scientific sources and standarts – compliant documents of Federal level, General scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, axioms, generalization). Results. The results of the work lie he fact that the author characterizes, systemizes and describes the advantages of the new forms of organization of the professional development: distance teaching, personalized training system, personalization, e-learning, modular training, project training, networking, internships. Practical implications. The results of the research can be used to develop curriculum and organize of training programs for teachers.
