Abstract
With my woman' mind, a window to the author's soul is opened. This open window allows us also to observe the communist world: institutions, practices, actions. Mihaela Miroiu's book can also be understood as a history of the evolution of the Romanian society, from the communist regime to an open, democratic society. Through the eyes of the author we see the way that this goes to wards the internalization and the public take over of feminism. In the book we find a story. It's her story. But reading the book give susthechance to evaluate our ownlife experiences. Mihaela Miroiu's book is both philosophical and political.
