The digital face of the scientific library: the centennial of academic traditions and innovations

Abstract

The process of mastering, the current state and prospects of the development of electronic library-information technologies and resources of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (VNLU) are considered. On the development of promising scientific and information library projects of VNLU: the abstract database «Science Ukrainca», the electronic library «Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine», the information portal «Science of Ukraine: access to knowledge», the electronic library «Ukrainica», the digital library of historical and cultural heritage are focused attention. Prospects for building the scientific and informational complex of VNLU in accordance with the requirements of modern electronic scientific communication are outlined.
