Learning by doing in virtual environments. A social work with groups experience
Abstract
A teaching experience linked to the subject Methodology of Social Work Intervention with Groups (MTSG), taught at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) is presented. The purpose of this article is to present the results of the systematisation of a practical experience linked to a virtual teaching-learning process in the field of social work with groups in the context of the health crisis caused by Covid-19. The framework of action of the teaching-learning experience and its pedagogical principles are presented. Subsequently, the process of transition from a face-to-face model to an online model is discussed. Finally, we present some of the keys that we consider fundamental for the experience to develop properly.
