An anomaly of Central Nervous System (CNS) can occur as an isolated defect or as a part of a syndrome. This syndrome can be the result of single genes, a chromosome aberration, or environmentally induced conditions (Bergsna D, 1979; Smith DW, 1982). The authors present: – Anomalies of the head: microcephaly; macrocephaly; hydrocephaly; – Central Nervous system (CNS) closure defects (Open neural tube defects); Spinal dysraphism; spina bifi da occulta; – Epilepsy; – Huntington’s disease – Alzheimer disease; – Cerebellar ataxias
