Persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC) associated with an absent right superior vena cava (RSVC) is a very rare congenital abnormality most commonly discovered incidentally. Pacemaker implantation in these cases may be challenging. In this case report we describe a case of PLSVC and absent RSVC in whom a dual-chamber permanent pacemaker was implanted.
