The narrative texts of Mihr ü Mâh have a key position among literary transactions in Classical Turkish Literature. One of those is the treatise engrossed by Zarîfî on which two dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels have been written up. Results obtained from these studies revealed availability of three manuscript copies of the work in question. On the other hand, previous works attested the presence of another copy of the manuscript. Last cataloging studies carried out by the Turkish Manuscript Foundation have also manifested this additional copy. In this paper, known issues of this work inside and outside Turkey are introduced. In addition, some questions overlooked in the above-stated thesis and shortcomings stemming from readings as well are discussed in conjunction with some considerations in respect to identities of the copies predicated. The fact that one of the copies that appears in the postgraduate study which includes a comparative text of the two copies is not at odds with the inspected issues is also addressed.
