Cultura de la violencia y Parlamento: Los diputados Castellanos y Leoneses en las Cortes de 1936
Abstract
This article analyses the behavior of the elected members of parliament (on February 1936), who represented the nine regions comprising the current autonomous community of Castilla y León. The research tries to identify their attitude to the crucial moment the country is living, and focusing on their commitment to the parliamentary system currently in force. We consider it as a representative group due to its diversity, and to the fact that all the members shared a common aspect: their special commitment to parliamentary system and democracy, which had provided them with their possessions; according to this, any departure from that line in this group has a special meaning.
