Abstract

Exoplanets, discovered by Mayor and Queloz, have changed our definition of the word planet. Nowadays, nobody can defin precisely this term. Study this exemple shows that the referential sense is neither in words, nor in the head, but in a linguistic use, socially shared and guaranteed by experts.
