First record of the monotypic genus Saphocallus Sharp (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Aleocharinae) in Korea with a discussion of its systematic position

Abstract

Monotypic genus Saphocallus Sharp and the described species, Saphocallus parviceps, are identified for the first time in Korea. A habitus photograph, redescription, and illustrations of the diagnostic characters of the species are provided. Systematic position of the genus is briefly discussed.
