External iliac kinking with surprising histopathological findings in a 60-years-old endurance athlete: a case report

Case report of a 60-years-old competitive cyclist running, presenting left lower limb claudication. Dynamic imaging suggested isolated external iliac artery kinking. Histopathological analysis showed both endofibrosis and fibromuscular dysplasia lesions, probably due to repetitive mechanical stress.
