DOENÇAS PARASITÁRIAS INTESTINAIS: PROBLEMA DE SAÚDE PÚBLICA, ALERTA PARA O ENFERMEIRO

Abstract

This work seeks to register data of a study on the incidence of Children's Intestinal Parasites in 1876 children assisted in the National health clinic of the Ability of Medicine of the Federal University of Pelotas / RS in the first Semester of 2000. The methodology maid was quantitative, qualitative, descriptive and exploratory. The study confirms that the hottest stations of the year are responsible for the increase of those diseases. They were analyzed 74 folders of children that were with probable diagnosis for intestinal parasites, being ended that there is the need of improvement of the orientations offered by the professionals to the population and mainly to the children's parents.
