Fields of experience and the Brazilian BNCC: a critical approach
Abstract
This presented work intends initiate a discussion about the conceptual bases of the Fields of Experience, proposal that the Curricular Common National Basis - BNCC brings like organization of the curriculum for the Early Childhood Education. The text goes through the origin of the proposal for work based on children's experiences based on the concept developed by the philosopher John Dewey, going through the influences on other curricular proposals that served as a model for Brazil. The author points out the contradiction between the original idea of the work with the project methodology from which it can be inferred the organization of early childhood education around fields of experience and the proposal presented by the BNCC, which brings a list of knowledge that should be taught to babies and to young children in each age group.
