Organizational happiness, emotional intelligence, and strategic administration are fundamental in any current institution, regardless of its complexity. Therefore, it is considered relevant and the general objective of this research to analyze the characteristics of organizational happiness, emotional intelligence, and the basic model of strategic management, which can be considered complementary depending on the company or institution. The research design is documentary, and the theory of organizational happiness is reviewed, according to Seligman; the theory of emotional intelligence, according to Goleman; and strategic management in the work of Wheelen and Hunger. The research concludes that organizational happiness can be considered a strategy, placing it within the basic model of Wheelen and Hunger, in the second and third element; that is to say, in the formulation and implementation of the strategy, if one thinks of the creation of management for happiness. In today's work environment, it is necessary to have staff capable of demonstrating their feelings, controlling and managing their emotions, developing their emotional intelligence based on shared objectives and goals around the company's mission and vision. This is complemented in turn with strategic management.   Keywords: Strategic management, Organizational happiness, Emotional intelligence, Wheelen, Thomas L. Hunger, David, J. Goleman, Daniel
