PARALLEL INTERPRETATION OF STATISTIC PARAMETERS OF DISPERSION AND CENTRAL TENDENCY
Abstract
Intent of central tendency measures is to determine the characteristic measure of given series, i.e. to determine one value, instead of a row of individual measures, which can substitute them. In contrary to them, measures of variability indicate how much did results grouped around the arithmetical mean, i.e. to what extent arithmetical mean represents these results. Parallel interpretation of mentioned statistical parameters provides both groups of indicators an opportunity to define results more precisely.
