Vygotsky e a Zona de Desenvolvimento Proximal (ZDP): Três implicações pedagógicas
Abstract
The article introduces Lev Vygotsky by providing a literature review where three of his seminal ideas are discussed: a) the human activity as mediated by the use of tools which are as genes to the biological evolution; b) there is a link between the socially organised activity and the construction of the consciousness; c) the higher psychological processes appear twice, first interpsychologically, then intra-psychologically, as they are internalised by the subject. Three pedagogical implications of the concept of ZPD are discussed: a) the existence of a learning opportunity window; b) the role of the tutor as metacognitive agent; c) the importance of peers as mediators of the apprenticeship.
