Digital technologies at the service of music production are increasingly used in formal music education. This work shows various sonological resources used in the Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Barcelona that try to promote the understanding of the elements of musical expression from the processes involved in musical production, perception and interpretation. For this, a case study has been carried out, collecting the opinions and experiences carried out by its teachers over 4 academic years. The results obtained present activities of musical production, perception and interpretation, and it is concluded that good practices in the application of digital technology provide greater effectiveness in music and sound classes of this university degree, as well as the promotion of critical capacity of the students in front of their sound and musical environment.
