A social necessity and a cultural challenge: Cuban computing elementary school
Abstract
The introduction of Computer in Cuban Elementary School is part of the programs of the Revolution. This is inserted into the development strategy drawn by the highest political leadership of the Cuban government and the Communist Party of Cuba and is consistent with the concept of educating martiano. The management of this technology in the primary school teachers imposes a major challenge: to overcome the shortcomings of their computer literacy so that they can successfully design their use for teaching purposes.
