Automatic Segment Compensation Alignment Control Algorithm Based on Rail Head Wear
Abstract
RSU (roller search unit) automatic alignment system which is based on laser profile measurement theory ensures that the RSU is always above the center of the rail, so that the ultrasonic can scan the rail normally and ensuring normal flaw detection. In order to solve the difficult problems of alignment control application, the automatic alignment control algorithm was improved and the automatic segment compensation method for alignment control benchmark based on rail head wear was proposed. The proposed algorithm solved the problem of 0 degree bottom wave loss in the case of severe rail head wear and normal control deviation of the alignment system. With actual rail lines test, it was proved that the improved algorithm could reduce the 0 degree bottom wave loss and improve the flaw detection effect on the wear rail lines.
