At the beginning of this decade, attention to diversity in Spanish universities had a boom and impact, affecting a progressive step forward regarding the various benefits offered to university students who presented needs (Comité Español de Representantes de Personas con Discapacidad [CERMI], 2010), but the cuts in budgets due to the economic crisis affected a notable decrease, influencing negatively on a quality can be guaranteed education in conditions of equity, challenge proposed for the new educational space in Europe (European Commission, 2000). To respond to this situation, a project based on innovative alternative methodologies, in particular based on Service-Learning and Mentoring, was developed, where, first of all, it was made a diagnosis of the needs presented by the University students, to later analyze, design, organize and execute those actions that will be effective and adapted to help the students to improve in their academic performance, skills and competencies.
