Increasing Global Literature in the Library

Abstract

The Startown Literacy Community reflect upon their experiences in promoting global literature in Startown Elementary School. Through increasing the amount of global literature and picturebooks in other languages, teachers were able to lead students through learning about other cultures and critically engaging with global literature.
