Study on the influence factors of the double-geared roller crusher based on the discrete element method
Abstract
Based on the crushing mechanism of the double-geared roller crusher and the actual structural parameters of the double-geared roller crusher produced by mechanical company, the simplified three-dimensional model of the double-geared roll crusher was established by using SolidWorks.The crushing efficiency of double-geared roll crusher under different influence factors was studied numerically by using EDEM software.The influences rule of different factors on the efficiency of crusher were obtained by analyzing the number of bonding bonds and the time of completing crushing.The simulation results show that the increase of the bulk rate and the hardness of the material could reduce the crushing efficiency of the crusher, and the change of the material hardness could lead to the difference of material size after crushing.For the soft rock material, increasing the gear roller speed of crusher properly could helpful to improve the crushing efficiency of the crusher under the particle size distribution is certain.The research results can provide reference for the mining enterprise to adjust of the roller speed of crusher rational according to the material properties and particle size distribution.
