Installazioni come opere irrealizzate: appunti su una metodologia per la conservazione
Abstract
Through practical examples, studied in different contexts and occasions, the text aims to show how contemporary art installations can be considered as unrealized projects, and never really completed. The methodology used for their preservation is often radically different from that applied to traditional media, getting much closer, both in practice as well as in theory, to the procedures used for cataloguing and digital preservation.
