Soil fauna in forest and pine plantations from San Lorenzo station-Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta
Abstract
Soils in San Lorenzo Station-Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta-(2280m) were selected in two different uses: forest and pine plantations. Fauna was coleected out from the soils by Pitfall and Berlesse methods to be determinated up to family levels. Biodiversity, populations, fauna distribution into soil profile, and richness and constancy indexes, were determinated in soil horizons. Biodiversity, richness and Constancy Indexes are affected when natural condition are disturbed, generally by man action. This perturbation speed up the natural population growth when another population controllers have disappea.
