The main objective of this article is to identify, through the identification and analysis of geographic and cultural aspects, the existence of a pomeranian cultural region in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul. Throughout the study cultural codes and visible aspects of the landscape geography of the four municipalities involved in the research: São Lourenço do Sul, Canguçu, Pelotas and Arroio do Padre. In these municipalities, fieldwork was carried out and systematic observations were made, in addition to 20 interviews distributed in different locations in the region covered by the survey. At the end of the study it was possible to represent cartographically the pomeranian cultural region in the south of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, based on data and information obtained during the investigation.
