Introduction: Homeopathy is a therapy that uses natural substances to treat various diseases, under the principle of similarity, that is, the cause of the disease can also cure it. Its high popularity in recent years is due to the fact that it does not produce adverse e ects, as does allopathic therapy. In the eld of dentistry it emerges as a successful complementary therapy. Objective: To describe the most important applications of Homeopathy in dentistry, according to the literature. Methodology: Literature review is carried out including original research, clinical cases, reviews of narratives and systematics in Med-line, PubMed, Scielo, Latindex, Redalyc and Google academic. No restrictions were placed on the language or time of publication. Results: Multiple applications and bene ts of Homeopathy are found and described in dentistry, such as in caryology, in pre and postoperative periods, in the reduction of pain and stress of the patient, among others, highlighting its e cacy and mechanism of action. Conclusion: The use of Homeopathy in dentistry is considered important due to the multiple applications in the dental eld and the bene ts of its practice. However, due to the scarcity of existing literature, further research is recommended to demonstrate its e ectiveness, in addition, in order to discover more of its multiple applications.
