This paper proposes an IoT platform design using multi-probe thermo-hygrometers for use in the country's tobacco industry, particularly in remote monitoring of the controlled curing processes of tobacco leaves. The system can register all measured data in an IoT cloud platform for consultation from anywhere, anytime. A Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ board is proposed as the control element, with the possibility of connecting up to nine simultaneous sensing probes, responding to the need to record information in multiple areas of curing houses. As a sensor, the use of Sensirion's SHT85 is proposed, already proved in this type of application, which offers the best levels of accuracy available on the market, very close to those of the commercial equipment currently used in the country, at a significantly lower cost. The proposed IoT platform is ThingsBoard due to its versatility and level of performance. The work aims to propose an alternative system design for the substitution of imports and the reduction of costs for this concept in the tobacco industry.
