MODUS OPERANDI OF THE POLITICAL POLICE IN RUSSIA IN THE LATE XIX - EARLY XX CENTURIES. SURVEILLANCE

Abstract

The article describes one of the main working methods of the Russian political police, used in the late XIX - early XX centuries. The article discusses the selection process for recruitment and training of agents surveillance. Regulation of action is analyzed in detail in the execution of spies oversight responsibilities.
