Un regard illustré sur l’aventure de la fouille dite « du Grand Louvre »

Abstract

On the occasion of the collection and first inventory of the archives of the “Cour Napoléon” excavations, it seemed essential to us to meet the actors of this unprecedented archaeological operation, in order to collect their memories and thus complete the “paper” documentation. After about fifteen interviews, we wanted to share four examples, showing how a profound human and social dimension emerged during these so well-known excavations.
