Single oral dose of Milbemycin oxime at 0.5 mg/kg body weight was found to be the most effective drug for microfilariasis. alternatively single subcutaneous injection of Ivermectin at 200 µg/kg body weight or Levamisole at 7.5 mg/kg s/c consecutively for 7 days also proved very useful.
