The aim of the research was to identify differences between selected age groups in attitudes toward the contemporary globalised world and material personal resources. The Questionnaire World-I and the Time and Money Survey were used. Examined were 905 participants: 20–26 years old (n = 315), 27–40 years old (n = 317), and 60–88 years old (n = 273). The results demonstrated that acceptance of the contemporary world was higher in the emerging and young adult groups than in the late adults, while the opposite was the case for critical and fearful attitudes. This was evident for older people with below average material resources. The research showed that in order to be less negative about the globalised world, it is useful to stabilise material conditions of people, especially the older ones.
