Activities of Shiite women in the fourth century AH in establishing and deepening the sciences and culture of Islamic civilization
Abstract
This descriptive-analytical study seeks to answer the question of the role of Shiite women in the fourth century AH, the golden age of Islam, in the development of the science and culture of Islamic civilization. Since culture-building is not limited to a particular class, women play a role in creating it as half of society. Due to their educational status and Shiite teachings in all various scientific, social, cultural and political aspects of Shiite history, women, as a continuation and manifestation of true Islam after the Prophet (PBUH), always in establishing and deepening Islamic sciences and spreading Shiite culture. They played an effective role, and in some stages they became decisive. The fourth century AH - which coincided with the Shiite governments, including the Buyids, Fatimids and Hamdanids, and at the same time with the Sunni caliphate during the Abbasid rule - we see widespread direct or indirect positive activities of Shiite women in the spread of Islamic sciences. The most important role of women in this century has been in scientific, political, social and cultural fields, and in various ways and forms.
