Specificity of Infectious Lesion of the Heart in Children (to Help the Pediatrician, Pediatric Cardiologist and Family Doctor)

Abstract

The paper presents the features of etiopathogenesis and clinical signs of infectious lesion of cardiovascular system in children. The high affinity of enteroviruses, Epstein — Barr virus and influenza to the myocardium with metabolic imbalance in it and occurrence of inflammatory process. The necessity of the inclusion of infective endocarditis in the diagnostic search algorithm in all patients with fever of unknown origin. The importance of early diagnosis of infectious lesion in the cardiovascular system and carrying out pathogenetic therapy are indicated.
