The Private Higher Education Institutions are in a growth environment, so wide competition.On the other hand, have significant difference from the other lines of business, as are ownersof investedcapital to manage the activity, but not in possession of the product that 'market',education. So this study aimed to analyze the Strategic Planning (PE) as a management toolable to support the administration of the School of La Salle Lucas do Rio Verde in decisionmaking. Specifically sought to: a) to discuss the outcome of the implementation ofParliament's year 2012; b) Check the strategies obtained through the four perspectives of theBSC adopted by the management group for the year 2013. For this purpose, study designopted for a qualitative, descriptive and documentary, and the PE subject matter of IES 2012and 2013. The main results indicate that since the implementation of PE as a management toolthe institution grew and strengthened in the market.It was found that the EP has enabled abroad view of its strengths and weaknesses, where it became possible to improve andimplement some projects and processes, which provided improvements to the IES.
