It is presented a documentary investigation of the Plans and Programs of study of the Normal Education based on the question: How have active and retired teachers learn to evaluate the learning? This doubt raised two possibilities: through their processes of his initial formation or by their professional practice. This investigation tries a possible answer. Therefore, it is suitable to investigate on official documents as well as consultation of the own teachers, that may be or not in service. The investigation arises in two phases; the first one is an inquiry qualitative type, through documentary review of the diverse plans and programs of study, that is to say, a hermeneutic study. This document corresponds to the results of this phase.
