This research was oriented to an institution of higher education (IHE). In this scenario, it was decided to conduct this research, which has as main objective to identify in a IHE, relationshi ps between constructs Individual Values and Organizational Commitment of teachers. The results of the research in relation to individual values showed that the values present at the team refer to motivational types benevolence, conformity and selfde termination. Regarding the level of organizational commitment, it was found that affective commitment is higher among the group surveyed, followed by normative commitment, and finally, the instrumental commitment. To verify the possible correlation between individual values and organizational commitment, it was used the Pearson correlation analysis between the two constructs. The results showed a significant positive correlation between commitment and motivational types hedonism and security. The normativ e commitment correlated positively and significantly with the motivational types benevolence, conformity, achievement and safety.
